Business executives need to turn to the soul for leadership in these difficult economic times, says bestselling author and international speaker Deepak Chopra.
In an interview with the Herald, Chopra said business leaders need to focus on “cause-driven marketing.”
“They have to stop interfering with government and with political contributions. Stop cronyism, power mongering, influence peddling and corruption and take some responsibility for improving our society,” he said.
Chopra said great leaders are those who can respond to their own needs and the needs of others from higher levels of spirit with vision, creativity, and a sense of unity with people they lead.
