Train Meditation.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Greetings Deepak. First let me say that your books and lectures on healing, health and meditation have helped me tremendously at a time in my life when I really needed it. I keep a very busy schedule, pursuing a writing career when I get home from work. My question pertains to what is a good time to meditate. I have been trying to keep up with the recommended two 20-minute meditations per day, one in the morning, one in the evening. My question is: I take the train to work and back and the ride is roughly 25 minutes each way. Is it alright to do my meditations on the train (when it would best fit my schedule) or do you think I am losing something by not practicing mediation in a quiet, dark room? As I'm sure you are aware, the train can be noisy, bumpy, etc… Do you have any advice for me? Thanks

Response:

Meditating on a train every day is perfectly fine. It’s all right that it isn’t in a dark silent room. What’s important is the regularity of practice. Some of my best meditations have been on trains, or airplanes or in cars. Once your body and mind have adjusted to the environment, the noises and bumps won’t matter and you’ll be able to settle in quite well.

Love,
Deepak

@Jacob, your abuse only reflects who you are inside, not anyone elses intentions. Sorry you feel that way.
