Swaying in Meditation.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

When me and my son meditate our bodies start moving back and forth or to the sides like a pendulum. What does it mean? Thank you so much for all you are doing.

Response:

This rocking to and fro doesn’t mean anything special. It can sometimes begin unconsciously as an automatic self-soothing response, that just keeps going on its own. And when someone you are emotionally connected to starts to do it, it is very easy to start moving too.

Recognize that you don’t need this rocking process because it is not helping anything. It is better to simply be still, because if your body is motionless it will be easier for the mind to experience pure stillness and silence. Just knowing this should be enough to stop the rocking motion.

    Last night as I meditated I kept seeing a light, or some kind of colorful dot, it was yellow/white and there was a large white ring around it, it was far away but as I breathed deeper it got closer or bigger. I then felt a pressure in my forehead at my Third Eye and I felt as if I was "rocking" all though I was completely still. The rocking sensation frightened me because I was rocking towards my 3 month olds chair with her asleep in it next to the bed I was meditating on. I felt like my energy was swaying or my life force was rocking. Was this sensation me trying to make the transition to astral projection? How can I get past this point and achieve my goal of travel? How can I use my traveling experiences to help me grow spiritually and heal mentally, physically and emotionally? Can I speak with other beings there to help me with certain aspects of my life, such as Angels, fairies or Spirit Guides?... Thank you and God Bless.

    I believe it is when an entity or spiritual force is trying to tune into your body. See it happening with Mediums when possessed by a spirit they start rocking.

    I began swaying about 5 months after I started meditating on a regular basis. I thought something was wrong with me like some negative energy was taking over. But then I listened to my body and found that it enhanced to experience. I felt as if my body were glowing with light. I can honestly say that it is not an effort to sway, it just happens. It`s like energy is guiding you. It makes you want to stay in that moment.
