Practicing Silence.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
In your book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” you suggest periods of practicing silence, periods lasting up to a week.
If I practice silence for an hour or two, do I cease all activity during this period, what is the practice for longer periods?
Response:
There are no hard and fast rules for what you do while being silent, but to get the most out of the experience, you might want to limit your activities that minimize external stimulation and minimize your internal dialogue. So instead of reading a suspense novel or listening to heavy metal music during your hour of silence, take a walk instead, or do some gardening or cooking. The extra stillness in your behavior and mental activity will allow your silence to be more mindful and deeper.

Deepak
