Overcoming Painful Memories.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

What is the best way to get over painful memories, or to get over bad things that have happened in the past? Or to forget people who have changed on you, and believe you to be a bad person but they really do not know the truth about you and that you are a good person. That you try and stick to God’s ways even if you are not the best devotee. How do you move on from not thinking about people who have betrayed you and look at you as you betrayed them because they refuse to believe the truth?

Response:

The best way to get past the past is embrace the present moment. When you are fully awake and alive to the present, you will find that you automatically let go of the painful past. Meditation is a powerful tool to cultivate present awareness, because as you anchor your being in the eternal now that is your true self, you establish a core consciousness of identity that no longer looks to the past or the future. Being secure in your own self allows you to safely acknowledge the old pain and that acceptance then will heal those wounds.

Love,

Deepak
