"When we awaken to UNITY consciousness we don`t try to BECOME. Yeah, say that to a mother with kids who carries the responsibility for their upbringing. I awoke to that consciousness when I was 34. It does not take away any responsibility. You just go on with your life in the same way as you did. But you have remembered that inner point in yourself again that remains undisturbed whatever happens. For the rest you chop wood in the same way you did before your so-called "enlightenment".
When we awaken to UNITY consciousness we don`t try to BECOME something or somebody!!! when we want to BECOME, there is still an "I" here seperate from others. being identified with "I" only strengthens the ego. There is no "DOER" trying to "BECOME" soembody. When we awaken to UNITY consiousness, all there is , is a silent watcher who viabrate LOVE...accepts what comes to its way. Takes action when impulses arises. There are no long term goals. Everything is spontenious.
