How can we overcome intense anxiety?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I am filled with constant fear and anxiety and have been for quite some time now.
I attribute it to my unstable job situation.
I have had a number of different jobs over the past year and can’t seem to settle into one.
How do I manage the constant fear and anxiety and settle myself so that I can get deep, restorative sleep?”
Response:
You can’t instantly make your job secure, but you can change the way you look at your job, and that can change your anxiety.
Right now you are looking to your job situation to give you a sense of stability and calm.
But even if you were certain that you could keep your present job for the rest of your life, you could be every bit as anxious as you are now about countless other uncertain factors in your life.
The point is that you need to make friends with change and uncertainty. It is an illusion to think we can be calm by controlling life.
Recognizing that the contentment of our true self is unchanged by the constantly changing outer events is what I sometimes call the wisdom of uncertainty.
If you start to see your life from the point of view of your true self, instead of your separate, changing self trying to find security in an ever-changing job scene.
When you find your sense of security inside you, then you can let your job be what it is, while you open yourself to new possibilities.
