Feeling a Shift in Perception.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I’ve been reading your book the 13th Disciple and I can’t explain exactly what I’m experiencing, but something in my mind is changing or getting rearranged as I read it. I was raised as a traditional Protestant Christian, but I have been on an eclectic spiritual journey for many years, so I don’t think it is just a matter of expanding my ideas of Jesus’ teachings. Can you help me understand what may be happening, and is this what you intended from the book?

I’m glad you said that. I did intentionally write the book to create a perceptual shift in the reader’s awareness. So much of our focus and everyday attention is consumed by the stimuli of superficial life. We can easily overlook the experience that beneath this surface level, there is a world of meaningful possibilities that can shape our life if we take notice of it. This luminous reality is what begins to emerge into the lives of the characters of the book, and in turn I hope the readers begin to experience a similar shift in perception in their own lives.

I am glad to see other open-minded people. I was also raised in the Christian faith. Years ago I began to read books written by Dr. Deepak Chopra as well as other people that I call my teachers. Jesus is among my teachers although I am not involved in any religion. I liken Jesus to a grape. Jesus had as much to do with the current-day Christianity as a grape has to do with an artificial grape drink (grapeless!). Many people who are Christians are loving people with good intentions, so I am not bashing anyone or any religion. I opened my eyes to other possibilities and found MY truth. I also found we can have different truths. Love to all and thank you, Dr. Chopra. I learned long ago that science and spirituality are forever linked.
