Evaluating Intuition.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

I’m a very emotional person and ‘feel’ my way through events in my life much of the time. Is this wrong especially if my intuitions are pretty accurate? The flip side is that when it comes to people I deem important, I become emotionally attached too.

However, lately, with the onset of awakening and an awareness of myself, I have been thinking through my emotions instead of feeling them. It is the only way I know how to detach from my emotionally attached state and make sense of my repeated behavioural patterns thus far. But I was told that I think and analyzed too much now.  My question is: Is it wrong to think our way through emotions? And which point do we draw the line and feel the emotions rather than think about them?

Response:

When one wants to find a basis for evaluating the validity of your emotional response, rather than analyzing it with logic and dispassion, I think it makes more sense to settle down through the emotion into your silent Self and see if it is aligned with your true nature. Emotional reactions, like fear, dependency, anger, and negativity won’t feel connected and supported by your inner presence.

It’s a good idea to use your common sense to test the appropriateness of your feelings, but if you only rely upon your intellect to judge your intuition, you are ultimately evaluating a deeper level of your guidance by a more superficial level.

Love,

Deepak
