Enough.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Why am I always searching for something else in my life? When is enough enough? Is it healthy as long as the longing is for something positive that contributes to others and the universe?

Response:

Enough is never enough in the relative world of desire, but experience of one’s higher self is the final aim of all desires and it is there that one finds ultimate fulfillment. But that doesn’t mean that desire is necessarily a bad thing. As you point out, when the impulse for more and more is selfless, it is a powerful agent of evolution and happiness. So, let the tendency of your desires lean toward how you can be of service to others, and that way you don’t have to worry about the endless nature of desire.

Love,
Deepak

The longing for "more" will always be there until your soul is reconnected in its bliss to the Cosmic Creator. The problem is that we, as humans in this form, equate that soulful longing to the physical/emotional need for stuff, stuff and more stuff! Anything that contributes to your soul becoming closer to God (even longing in itself) I believe is healthy, but our limited understanding and perceptions take us off-track which is why we need to be constantly seeking spiritual truth and creating mindful habits (i.e. meditation/compassion/yoga) to keep us on track. Best wishes on your journey!
