Angry from Meditation.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

I notice that I feel very angry inside after a few days of guided meditation?  This happened the first time I took the 21 day challenge and I never thought much of it, but this time I notice it has happened again.  The anger is manifesting during the day and evening.  Silent meditation does not have that effect on me.  I am so curious to know why this is happening.  Any thoughts?

Response:

Assuming that the anger is actually correlated with the guided meditation, it is probably because there was a reservoir of repressed anger inside that needed a specific state of feeling safe for it to be released. The guided meditation may have created just such a atmosphere that a more generalized state of peacefulness in silent meditation may not have made so explicit. This is still speculation, since repressed anger can also be released from silent meditation as well, when the time is right.

Regardless, the important thing is to not act on your anger. Recognize that it is old conditioning that is unwinding, not something you need to express to others. Breathe, exercise, walk, write, dance, sing—do whatever you need to in order to help move it out without hurting anyone.

Love,

Deepak
