Yoga and Acupuncture.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Do yoga and acupuncture provide the individual with the same benefits? Don’t both aim to increase the flow of energy through the chakras (or as the Chinese call it the meridians and or chi)? My understanding is both practices clear the chakra centers in the body. Am I wrong?
Response:
I won’t say you are wrong about the two practices, but with yoga, I think it is important to add that in the Vedic tradition of India, the word yoga means much more than physical postures, it is the larger spiritual practice that unite the limited mind with the universal, nonlocal mind. Yoga is a path to enlightenment that includes much more than the physical poses and breathing it is commonly understood to be in the West. Yoga is an integrated practice that centers around a meditation technique that gives one experience of direct union with universal mind. So balancing prana and opening and clearing the chakras is a byproduct of a complete yoga practice, but it is not the aim.

Deepak
