What should we look for in a guided meditation?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
When I listen to self-hypnosis or guided relaxation audio’s, isn’t the goal to relax? Then you are supposed to say the affirmations with excitement and emotion. I find it hard to be relaxed and excited at the same time. It’s either one way or the other for me. Do you have any suggestions?
Response:
I can’t speak for other people’s guided meditations and programs of affirmations, but in my guided meditations, the aim is to connect with one’s inner intelligence or true self. That state of integrated self has many additional mind/body benefits, including deeper rest and relaxation.
When I suggest affirmations, I recommend they be said from a state of ease and a natural integration of clear mental intention, genuine emotion in a calm bodily sensation of groundedness. I do not think an agitated emotional excitement helps the intention manifest.
