Taste of Spiritual Awakening.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Hi Deepak, I had a spiritual experience around a year and a half ago, which I’ve since only been able to identify as what they call a spiritual awakening. It was amazing and my life changed drastically for about a week. I had a higher perspective, reconnected with my body and could see and feel the beauty all around me. After a week I was plunged back into my old way of being. I just can’t seem to operate anymore and I’ve never felt so disorientated and confused in my whole life. I’m not sure if I’m going mad or what’s happening to me. I’m really desperate for some help and advice, I don’t know how long I can carry on like this. Please Deepak if you could give me some advice and guidance. Thank You.
Response:
That sounds like a positive experience. Don’t feel bad that it hasn’t become permanent yet. You got a clear glimpse of what your real self is like, so now you have something solid to build upon. That is something to be grateful for. Don’t worry about trying to sustain the experience, it will come when you have integrated what you have tasted from it and are ready for the next opening of awareness. To prepare yourself, reengage with your old life, and do what is there for you to do from the level of awareness that you have. That will strengthen and solidify that spiritual experience into a permanent and functional aspect of your life. You don’t need to adopt a spiritual mood, attitude or point of view beyond what is naturally there. It’s okay if the shift in your identity is a little disorienting for a while. Just focus on the tasks in front of you, and the shift from ego self to real self will gradually make the transition.
Love,
Deepak
