Quote.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Religion is cultural mythology. Spirituality is self awareness. They have nothing in common.

Religion bases itself more within the insight of community and group communication. It wants participation of the society in order to achieve its purpose. Without a society to depend upon it, religion cannot fully exist. Religion also depends on inflexible structure and belief, and this is the weakness of religion for some. Spirituality is much more of a person journey which does not rely leading a group of people or a sense of society to exist. Neither spirituality nor religion can be absolutely right or wrong for everyone. Religion request to people who enjoy structure, community, tradition and prefer to have their relationship with God developed using these principles. Spirituality appeals more to individuals who prefer to relate to God in a more private and solitary manner without rigid guidelines. Spirituality allows people the freedom to experience God on their own terms and in their own way without the limitations faced by organized structure.
I often wonder and ask myself for a clear understanding of spirituality and being religious. Being taught that Paul established the Christian church when before "Christianity " was a way of life. He never met Jesus and it was about thirty years after Jesus death that it become a religion around the 4th century AD. Prior to that time he was persecuting the followers of Jesus teachings and had gone through some traumatic experiences himself which made him a believer through his sufferings also. I like what you said Delaware Mom and for me I don`t like religions that become dogmatic to me. Having a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe and knowing I/we are the universe not by chance or accidents is what I believe. Sometimes wars are caused.
