Mantra and Thoughts.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I am writing you from The Netherlands. My question is about pure consciousness. During my meditation when the mantra and thoughts cancel each other out. I can still hear the sounds around me and I do not completely lose the sense of my body except my legs and arms. So, I assume I am not in pure consciousness. Do you have some tips to improve my meditation and finally get into pure conscious mind?
Response:
When we hear sounds around us or feel the general sense of the body in meditation, those mental processes are also thoughts. But thoughts are an essential part of effective meditation. So, don’t worry about thoughts or try to get rid of them. In the gap between every thought you experience pure awareness. But remember, your true self is pure consciousness. It is always there whether the mind is active or silent. You can’t get away from pure consciousness. Continue meditating easily and that inner awareness will continue to grow stronger and more continuous, until it becomes a permanent feature in the background of your mind. Eventually, pure awareness will permeate into the foreground of every aspect of your mind, emotions and actions.
