Love and Dying.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

In your book, The Path to Love, on page 17 the statement that “Love is meant to unveil immortality,” what exactly does this mean?  I am a Christian and I believe I will have eternal life.  I am not afraid to die, however, I am in fear for my daughter experiencing that loss and how she will make it.  Does this have anything to do with what this question is about?  Is about the fear of dying?

Response:

This part of the book is not addressing the fear of dying. The point that love is meant to unveil immortality is given in the middle of a list of ten points at the beginning of the book as a way of laying out the highest expectations we hold for a fully matured spiritual love.  Also included in that list are the feelings of safety, power, healing, peace, freedom from fear and nearness to God. As you read further into the book you will see that love can be understood and engaged as a cosmic power of spiritual transformation that reveals the source of love as identical to that immortal, unlimited divine intelligence at the heart of creation and our own essence as well.

If you are really looking for a book that specifically deals with the fear of death and the afterlife, then perhaps Life After Death would be more applicable for you right now.

Love,

Deepak

I have read Life After Death twice and am currently reading How to Know God: The Soul's Journey into the Mystery of Mysteries, and I have a question about a recent experience. My husband and I were camping in our schoolbus next to an isolated, very still, high-mountain lake and were talking at our breakfast "table" about how peaceful and harmonious we felt together when, for several moments, he became a totally brilliant golden light. One hr. later, a sudden gust of wind blew our canoe over on the lake and he passed away from hypothermia within a few minutes, in the frigid water. I survived in the water in a stunned but calm state for 1/2 hr. before I was rescued; I feel he may have helped me survive. Can you help me understand the brilliant light he manifested to me as, one hr. earlier? What might it mean in terms of his state and his pending transition?
