Looking for happiness.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

I work in a bank, have a very loving wife and financially I am okay. I mean to say that despite having these things I never feel happy. I always feel like whatever I am doing   due to obligation. Like since I have the job that is why I work, I got married, that is why I love my wife. It is not like I don’t need these things in my life, but I never feel like I’m attached. Not only for these things, I never feel attached with anything. That is why I never put my effort forth honestly. Like if I want something new to do in office, I start with interest but with first problem in my way, I give up. I never fight hard to get something. In my life I have got everything easily. Now, the problem is I don’t enjoy anything and always feel like dissatisfied and unhappy. What should I do?

Response:

You are living your life based on externals, instead of living life from your soul, your innermost heart’s desire. That is why life feels colorless and uninteresting. A meditation practice can get you back in touch with your lifeforce–that spark of shakti that enlivens all creation. When you shift into living from your core self, you will feel the joy, enthusiasm and love that are intrinsic to life.  We are here on earth to experience the joy that is our essential nature.

Love,

Deepak
