Intelligence in the Animate and Inanimate.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
We all know there is a definite difference between animate and inanimate matter. I reckon the difference is that of “That Intelligence” which you talk about as God, which we so clearly see when studying biology. That intelligence which knows how to run the life. As I understand from your talk, this is the soul, intelligence or god or the consciousness, awareness. Because this Intelligence is lacking in inanimate matter, I don’t quite see the soul in inanimate matter. My question is how can we say that consciousness is there in inanimate matter too?? The definite difference between the two is what I see as the real magical God, or the consciousness which is so self creating and self repairing, even though the inanimate matter is still considered God, because God is Omnipresent. In Advaita, as they say “All there is, is consciousness” doesn’t make complete sense to me, as I see there is that Special Intelligence in life forms which is lacking in inanimate matter, because of which we can call it soul less. Your explanation would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Response:
In observing the intelligence that pervades creation it is certainly obvious that there is a marked difference in the expression of intelligence that is displayed in biological forms and inanimate matter. However, that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist in those forms. The exquisite crystalline structure of minerals, and the precise chemical and physical laws that are displayed in physical matter are awe inspiring in their own right. But much of this intelligence in matter is hidden to the naked eye, whereas it is more obvious in the dynamics of living systems.
To the ancient seers of reality, this declaration of consciousness and intelligence in everything was not a mere philosophical declaration. They had fathomed the depth of their own existence and discovered that at the core of their consciousness was creativity, intelligence, love and bliss. And in their illumined perception they could recognize this basic existence in everyone and everything they experienced from God to a grain of sand.

When you make a painting, it came from creativity, imaginaion and consciousness.....We may simply think/say that The nature has its own imagination and creativity and consciousness? Maybe yes. It creates beautiful crystals.....or caves, stalactites......google: "stalactite is a tapering structure hanging like an icicle from the roof of a cave, formed of calcium salts deposited by dripping water."....So it was created from water....and people could consciously see it and analyze it, or feel the gratitude for it, go there with kids, students to have opportunity to see it, feel the joy and maybe write about it in some blog.........so its consciousness too. If I understand. But maybe if some people go there and get bored....maybe they dont pay attention to consciousness (fully)....but something else...for example tattoo. :) Young people like tattoos I dont even know why.
