How can we find our perfect job after graduation?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I graduated from university last year.
Since then, I’ve been unemployed and have made no real progress career-wise because I haven’t felt myself drawn to anything.
I have no idea what my life’s passion is supposed to be, and I feel truly lost in life.
Is there anything you would recommend?”
Response:
Start with what your inherent interests and gifts are.
What drew you to the field in which you got your degree last year?
What was it that made you want to study this area and contribute your talents to it?
Don’t allow your thinking to trail off into thoughts of “I don’t like anything.”
This process will require you to do a deep and thorough inventory of yourself, your interests, and your strengths.
Think of how people in the past have commented on how you helped them or improved a difficult situation.
Many people find journaling helpful in listing skills and interests.
As you develop your list, make a note of an action step for each interest/ability.
It could be that you have a passion for World War II history, so you could offer to be a docent at the local history museum or do some volunteer tutoring for students struggling with history class.
Once you get involved, you get a better idea of what you are good at and what really inspires you.
You will also find that interacting with people will open new opportunities.
One thing can lead to another.
Don’t hold out for the perfect career that will hold your passion for the rest of your life to present itself.
Life is rarely like that.
Start where you are and do your best at that position and your inner growth will bring you the subsequent jobs that will unfold your continuing passion and purpose.
Love,
Deepak
