Dear Deepak, I recently became a Primordial Sound Meditation teacher and I feel a calling to help our soldiers returning home from war through the practice of meditation. Is there a mythical archetype for a great woman teacher?
Response:
There are many wonderful wise woman archetypes. In India, there is the goddess Saraswati, the bestower of wisdom, creativity and musical harmony. In Greece, there are the wisdom goddess Sophia and Athena. And of course, there is Diotima the mysterious wise woman who was the teacher of Socrates. Any one of these would be a good source of inspiration and guidance for the valuable healing work you feel called to do. Bless you.
