Gratitude and Abundance.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I have read plenty about “feeling” grateful and abundant as a way to bring more of what you want into your life. I enjoy nature and being in the moment watching a flower catch the morning sun, the play of cool air on my face on a hot summer day, sunsets, that point at dusk when everything falls still, a white breasted sea eagle flying overhead. I tend to be with these experiences, yet I don’t think I feel any emotions connected to them? What emotion/s complement gratitude and abundance? How do we “feel” grateful and abundant
I’m not sure I actually understand what it is I am supposed to “feel”?
Response:
I think you’re trying too hard to make a project out of the simple act of gratitude. Gratitude is a state of being. It is a fullness of the heart that recognizes the blessings of Nature within and without. Abundance is a similar state where one feels, “My cup runneth over.” Gratitude could also be termed as a kind of love for the goodness of life itself.
Your experience in nature sounds to me like it fits this exactly. Feeling gratitude and abundance was just that experience that you were having, even though there wasn’t any discernible emotion associated with it. That state of consciousness is enough to connect you to all the gifts of life.
Love,
Deepak
