Freedom from Stress.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

I have endured stress induced anxiety for months now. It has taken over my life and become an obsession. I think constantly about all my aches and pains, which are all stress induced and it is exhausting. How long will it take for my body to get back to its normal self with meditation? Will it help me so I can be a better person and mother???

Answer:

Meditation will help you release the accumulated stress and anxiety in your life and allow you to find balance again. And I can assure you that meditation will also assist you in becoming a better person and a better mother. However, I cannot tell you how long that will take. The path of healing and spiritual growth is not that clear-cut. Not only does it depend upon how much stress you have built up over the years, but it also depends upon how committed you are to the transformation of your consciousness. But even if spiritual evolution had a specific timetable that you could accurately match yourself to, I wouldn’t think that was a good approach to take anyway. That puts too much emphasis on expectations and creates pressure by comparing yourself to some ideal, and that takes you out of the present moment and it spoils the innocence and simplicity of your genuine spiritual experience. When one is looking for freedom from stress, you don’t want to create a new kind of stress for yourself with those kind of unhelpful expectations.

Love,
Deepak

I would add additionally that it is not only meditation that helps reduce stress and balance your body out but also any additional stress that you are adding in your life. The 3 best principles that I have picked up are from Dr. Chopra`s book "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desires, Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidences". These three being [1] Work on nurturing positive human relationships, this requires understanding duality and paradoxical unity, which leads to experiencing life`s relationships and events in totally NON-JUDGMENTAL manner and because of practicing non-judgment you will not add additional stress through relationships. The [2] principle is the impeccable speech and behavior, understanding that you are not inferior or superior to anyone, that you are not affected by criticism or praise. [3] is the principle of Moksha, or "emotional freedom" that you don`t sow any more resentments, guilt, blame, hostility, anger, rage, shame etc. When you combine these three principles with the meditation you get to that state of equanimity. If at any time you feel turbulence go back to the book and read the principle. The book costs like $12.00 dollars or so, the words and principles in it are worth a million dollars. Do absorb them really well.

  3. its like all enlightening paths, gurus speak of how some yoga are not for everyone. This is devil`s tool of pride and entitlement. The chosen ones, is in all occultic schools. The sphinx at the gate where only the special ones get higher the ladder of enlightenment. This creates devotee who wants to enter the circle of greats, some discover the path is filled with deception and darkness but still the entitlement is what feeds a carnal soul. God says we are all equal and God is not a respector of persons. The spirit of gurus are higher and treated as gods.
