Floating Hands.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Today while meditating ( 21-Day Meditation Challenge- my day 14), I had my hands in my lap, I felt my hands began to move, I thought they were slipping, but my hands went up maybe 5 cm up from my lap, I was very nervous because this is the first time happened to me , I tried to calm down and focus, I got it but my heart was beating so hard. I saw a light, then I heard the soft bell for the end of meditation, l and you said it’s time to stop repeating the mantra. I did, I was so calm and in peace, I felt my body was so light. Why did this happen?

Response:

When the body automatically moves during meditation it means that some old conditioning that was registered in the tissues of the body was ready to be released, and in that psychoneurological release there was some residual muscle movement that facilitated the physical discharge of the old stress. It’s nothing to bother about or analyze, it just means you are now freer to experience deeper levels of awareness.

Love,
Deepak

I didn't experience my hands moving but saw a light several times. They were like stars; it was an interesting experience as well :)

Hi Deepak, your answer is very interesting. I prefer to consider this "movement of the hands" as a clearing of "energy" blockages, beyond the physical, nothing to do with anything with the tissues or physical body. In Eastern mystical circles this is known as a "kriya", a spontaneous movement that like you say, clears blockages. Thanks for listening, Jason
