Financially Preparing for a Child.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I’ve been practicing Zen meditation for many years, and recently I have discovered creative visualisation. I’m married and we are expecting a child. I work very hard to improve our financial situation for the arrival of our child. The problem I have is that Zen meditation teaches the “let go” of thoughts, while creative visualization teaches to keep the object of your dreams present into your mind all the time and encourages you to develop a “strong desire” for it. It feels very unnatural for me, and its creating a conflict inside of me. How to harmonise both practice together? Thank you for your time.
Response:
When you are doing Zen meditation, let go of thoughts when they come drifting by. When you are out of meditation, working at your job, focus on doing your job to the best of your ability. Each activity has its own rules of effectiveness. Meditation rules apply during meditation, not in your daily work. If you do your job with full attention, then creative visualization is not necessary for financial success.
