Eating and Weight Loss.

Question:
I listened to the audio on weight loss. I started to eat only when hungry but many days I’m not feeling hungry for long time so I don’t eat but I feel a burning sensation below the throat if I don’t eat. Out of fear whether hungry or not, I started eating only lunch. Am I in right track?
Response:
It could happen that if your eating habits and rhythms have gotten far out of balance, you may be getting hunger signals that are confusing you. Make sure your sleep and activity schedule is balanced. Then, eating a light lunch can be a good way to get your hunger response re-normalized. Notice how you feel after the meal, so you know what satiation feels like. Then the next day, notice how you feel before you eat. Keep paying attention while you eat and then afterwards again. In a few days, you will have reset your hunger signals.
