Role of God.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I have read and study several of your books and I was wondering what role Godplays in our lives. Because, the way I understand it is that good and evil is an experience of consciousness and we are here to experience certain things here on earth. Before we are born, we choose who our parents are going to be and what we experience on earth in order to learn our true self. But, if we ‘chart our lives’ what role does God play?
Response:
God as the creative source and intelligence and love in creation and at our essence, is central to the awakening of consciousness that I talk and write about. One of the books I wrote called How to Know God goes into great depth about how we can use this relationship to God as a way to map our path to full Self-realization.
We can understand our soul choices and life experiences as the way that we come to know our divine self. It’s not that God acts as an outside agent that imposes a will or rules upon us, rather I see God as that inherent power of love and awakening that is drawing all creation toward its full potential. We can exercise our choice to cooperate with that evolutionary flow of nature in order to make life happier, easier, and more effective.
