Intuition and Self-fulfilling Prophecy.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Hello, I would like to know the difference between self-fulfilling prophecy and intuition. Many times I have found myself saying that something will happen and it does. Usually it’s based on a feeling or just knowing, but some say that it’s me setting myself up for failure. For example, I was dating someone and I sensed that he liked someone else. I then determined that he like her and wanted to be with her not me. So, I “vowed out” of the situation, frankly I didn’t even ask him. I just assumed it was so since he had gone out with her. In the end he did end up with her. I can’t help but wonder if that was of my making. Did I somehow make that relationship happen by believing it would or was that just my intuition? It just seems that this sort of thing happens all of the time. I set myself up for it. Others tell me that I am the one closing myself up and setting up these situations from happening because I am afraid of relationships or because I want it that way. To be alone. But in my heart of hearts I do not want to be alone. I want to have a relationship and for a long time I wanted that with this individual. In the end he went elsewhere and I just wonder if that was because of me or because it was meant to be. If you have any insight, please share. Thank you.
Response:
Intuition is the quiet knowledge or perception of impending events that are unfolding according to forces that are largely independent of one’s personal wishes. What you describe as self-fulfilling prophecy is a state of fear that projects a negative outcome. The difference between the two is the difference between a peaceful knowing presence within, and fear.
