  • Yes, I definitely feel that the mind can grow new neural networks. I practice meditation on a regular basis and I find that I can do things with my mind more easily now then I could before I started meditating. My creativity and motivation have also increased.

  • Our personality is combination of habits, but the great thing is that we can change our habits or sanskar.the soul has three faculty, mind intellect and sanskar, our next birth is depend on the quality of our sanskar or habits.the law of attraction is also work on our personality.when we want to change our particular habit.,first we create thought on that new habit, then approved by intlect,we take that particular thought in to action, and after repeating it ten to fifteen time it become our sanskar.the important thing is that we must take that thought into action, otherwise it does not become my habit

  • This is from the old adage "you can't teach an old dog new tricks!" So not true. I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury on 7/30/12 and did your 21 day meditation challenge (just finished 2 weeks ago)--it helped with my memory beyond belief. I still think that everyday is Friday no matter which day of the week it is. However my focus is so improved and I am much more accepting of what IS! Thank you--Your teachings have been a true blessing to me and my brain.

  • People DO get stiff as they age because of the build up of scar tissue. MSM is good to soften it, but a solution to use with MSM is serrapeptase, which digest scar tissue, besides cleaning out plaque and getting rid of inflammation.

  • Considering the damning evidence in this book by Robert Whitaker thank God for neural plasticity! As someone that took "anti-depressants" (for panic attacks) and ended up with a diagnosis of "Bipolar Affective Disorder" from the SSRI, I then went on to be exposed to several prescribed psychoactive drugs. The last 5 years of my life have started to make more sense. http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Epidemic-Bullets-Psychiatric-Astonishing/dp/0307452425

  • My pleasure buddy. My father always said " The human mind requires CREATIVITY in order to remain healthy and growing. It is designed to create. It is meant to create. If our minds are not living in an environment in which they are creating, then they are stagnating. And with stagnation, the human mind will ultimately demand its death"

  • You were meant to do great things for the world. Without your mind pigeonholed in a constant survival/slavelike stagnation trap ( i.e., your routine-rut job ) , your mind will begin to function as it was designed. Your creative mind will begin to seek that which deeply motivates you. Most human beings are motivated to bring good into the world. When you become deeply motivated and creative, bringing values to mankind, then you will live with exciting exhilaration and enthusiasm every day.

  • The heuristics of creativity is to sift through the sum of all probabilities and possibilities for each situation we encounter that is significant to change your lives or thinking. There are only a few possibilities of some set of probabilities that we can reckon that would yield the positive movement in the situation of thinking that we are attempting to solve. Dr. Deepak says so in the 7 spiritual laws of success and this is the heuristics of computer algorithms that base AI to sort and solve.

This is what KIDS do (unconsciously) all the time, giving them a wonderful creative world in every aspect......... And why shouldn`t we be able to do this getting older. The Internet is ONE big expression of it!!

  • Do we loose our imagination or creativity as we grow older? As we mature does our creativity also mature? As a child, did you use creativity to imagine a world in which you had great abilities and where capable of anything? Now as an adult, have you adjusted your creativity to concepts of reality, for example, life within the realm of physics, law, religion, and money? As we feel the burden of the laws and rules and regulations of Governments and the oppressive and condemning judgement of religions, do we simply begin to use our creativity to imagine how to cope with these burdens? We may be engulfed in this world of material objects, rules and prejudice, but we can still find small moments of escape, simply take a little time out of your day and be creative with a child, a pet, or just watch and wonder about nature. They don`t care how much money you make or if you live within the rules governments or religion. Well the indoctrinated children might and that to me is mental abuse. John the Baptist never baptized a child and Jesus was an adult when he was baptized.

However, when my ideas blossom after my contemplation and thinking about "who I am," I then proceed to become creative by carrying out and "doing" some of my ideas. I guess that`s the key to happiness; being creative..
