“If you have a good mental practice but you’re not connected to your body, you’re fractured. If you have a good physical practice but you’re not connected to your spirit, you’re fractured. Yoga is about being whole.”
In the latest episode of 30 DAYS OF INTENT on The Chopra Well, Natalie and Iman meet with power yoga instructor Rudy Mettia. With a background in the U.S. Marine Corps, Rudy now specializes in teaching yoga to veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. • even if your mind and body are well connected, you could be still disabled, as your mind and body are not connected to your own soul or other souls. To be able to perform life, one should be completely aware of at-least the world they live in, If not the universe. That`s what human being does, utilize all their senses, as much as possible, which he/she is only capable yet. there are no boundaries known any way... To make a world a better place, should start making a better self being.

  • ANY WAYS TO ME, I DON`T NECESSARILY SEE MYSELF LIKE MANY MANY MANY PEOPLE.NOW I KNOW I`M NOT,THAT SMART I`M NOT MONEY MOTIVATED BECAUSE I`M NOT STINGY LIKE MOST PEOPLE WHOM MIGHT BE OR MAY BE. TO ME I THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX I KNEWI WAS ALWAYS GOOD AT DREAMING N BELIEVING WHAT I HEAR OR SEE. SOMETIMES I USED TO BE NAIVE BUT I;`VE GROWN A LOT. ALTHOUGH I STILL SHUN OUT SOME OR CERTAIN TYPES OF PEOPLE IF WE DON;`T VIBE OFF TOO WELL,

  • Is there such a thing as yoga for disabled people ?I can imagine it would be strange for a disabled person to attempted because yoga seems to require control over ones body and not being able to control ones body is a very real everyday challenge for disabled people

  • How does a stiff old lady get started doing yoga without hurting myself? I`ve done tai chi for 25 years but I want to be more limber and I definitely don`t want to force any change or injure myself...I need slow change. Also, I have an old injury in my left foot (a broken metatarsal) so I can`t bend my toes back too far.

  • Thanks for including this video in the series! I think yoga can be one of the best things a person can do, maybe THE best single physical thing. In my early twenties I did a lot of hatha yoga (not the more demanding yoga in this video) and wish I had kept doing it as career & life in general demanded more of my attention. I hope people would do some kind of yoga regularly, even a small amount, to keep the body younger and the mind more relaxed and the spirit more peaceful.
