Meditation and gratitude is just the start of spirituality - the rest is a
journey for themselves.

I reared my children by ringing them to church and saying their prayers
with them,as they turned they objected to going to church.IT was a row and
I felt it just was defeating the purpose.so mow I say a few basic prayers
in the car, when taking them to school.sometimes .One child tell him about
what he said to god last night,The ealdest one just does not want to
know.so that is fine, too,as they will both find their own path. The seeds
have been sown.!

As many have already expressed, the natural tendency of children is to be
busy, active, and excitable. What soothes them into a state of meditation?
Reading and soft music. So when my children were very little, we ended our
day with a book, a song, and a prayer. It became a daily ritual for my
children, as young as three years old. Now that they're older, they still
wind down in this way: practice their instruments, read, pray/meditate.
