I watched part Deepak Chopra`s show this morning. He is the only one who could explain why we human beings are same with the universe. Our own minds are made of the atoms the universe is made with, and after hearing him say it,it could possibly bring me to a new level within meditating.I will be reviewing his lessons many times.Thank You Deepak Chopra.

The video won`t play. It is set to \"private\".... You need to make it public for people to view it. Hello?

Re posting this as edited:\nHello, I have listened to the entire audio book \"What are you hungry for\" and enjoyed it very much. I do have one question. Considering the mind-body connection and that the natural state of the body is perfect health, does Dr. Chopra believe it possible that the mind-body connection could overcome food intolerances, such as lactose intolerance? I am desperate to restore my body back to perfect health, and believe with my mind and spirit, but I continue to have an extremely poor reaction to even two slices of cheese on my sandwich. Any comment or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Crisscross72, I am in similiar circumstances. I have punished myself with food for most of my life. I am excited with this program because emotional eating is finally being addressed. The solution is toadapt a healthier relationship with food so you aren`t dependent on others to fill your needs. Once you stop emotional eating, your self esteem will soar. You will no longer need to eat to fill the voids in your life. Who knows? With a healthier mind and body you might be more receptive to find the right person for your life. I hope this advice helps. Good luck with your journey!!

Luckily I`m aware of myself and therefore already knew that my overeating is due to emotional hunger. However, how do you fill the holes of affection/love & sense of belonging if you don`t have a partner, kids and are not surrounded by family. You can`t. No words, meditations, positive thinking, etc can replace affection. Given that there is no way to fill this void other than being with someone you really shouldn`t be with, you will continue eating. What`s the solution to this?
