Despite the fact that our secretary of State will not be present at this event anymore, Yoga and Ayurveda are already integrated on our Dutch society because of the fact that so many common people feel good practicing this lifestyle. You don't have to be ill to feel the benefits of this way of living. I do not believe Yoga and Ayurveda fall under "alternative healthcare". It is just a lifestyle that brings great health and inner wealth to people who are already healthy and want to keep that this way. Luckily the own responsibility of people for their own life is highly valued in my country. When our government would decide to hold a referendum about this subject (as has been done in Switzerland), am sure a majority of the people will vote for this way of healthcare. It's a pity it has been put in the category of quackery, which is clearly not the case!

Quote of a wall street guru: the housewife knows economy better than anyone else. This is also true in the health industry and, pardon me, in many more. At last someone who knows where most of the knowledge comes from :) Don't underestimate common people, they know more than all the so-called professionals together.
