The Witness is Meditation.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Hello Deepak Regarding the strengthening of the witness in meditation – does this happen even if your meditation is difficult i.e. you are still thinking despite your focus on the mantra and your breath? Secondly is it better to meditate twice a day for 15 min or once a day for 30 min? And lastly is there an ideal place to hold your eyes even though your eyes are closed? Blessings to you

Response:

Self-awareness grows during meditation regardless of the contents of our mind while we are meditating. The silent witness is something just that presence of awareness that is the background of all our thoughts and feelings. It is always there even if we are not aware of it.

Meditation is a way for that awareness to recognize itself, and that happens even in the midst of a stream of thoughts or strong emotions.

If you find it easy to make time twice a day to meditate, then that is the preferred routine, because that gives you a better balance of daily activity with the rest and rejuvenation of meditation. But if realistically will only meditate once a day, then combine your time. It’s fine.

When you meditate with eyes closed, just let your eyes rest wherever they naturally rest. You don’t need to give any thought to your eyes when you are meditating.

Love,

Deepak
