Sick Father, Sick Daughter.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
My father is very sick. I am so worried that I’m making myself sick. I know that there is nothing I can do medically to make him better. How can I help him and myself without running away?
Answer:
The best way to help him right now is to help yourself first. A sympathetic connection with your father is tying you into his debilitated condition. You might have a mistaken subconscious belief that if you are sick too, then you are showing true love and compassion and therefore he will somehow get better. Unfortunately your emotional bond to him is weakening you instead of strengthening him.
Know that the only way for you to help him is to be a source of love, strength, and joy, and you can only do that if you are healthy and strong yourself. If you worry yourself sick, it will not make your father better, it will probably only make him more ill.
You don’t have to run away from him to take care of yourself first. It is more of a change of perspective than anything else. It is realizing that you are doing what you can and not trying to do what you cannot do.

Thank you very much this wise comment Deepak and others. My situation today with my father is same here in Finland. Now I am going meet him and use this model.
No. Do not 'help yourself' first. You know that that is wrong. Be loving, gentle, caring, thoughtful, sweet, godly, hospitable, forgiving, strong, courageous, and discerning. Ask GOD, to grant you these things. He rewards all who earnestly seek Him.
This life is like a blade of grass, that dries up & withers. Pray & ask one-time for Forgiveness. God is faithful!, & will forgive. Eternal Life will be yours. Take a stand, and share Truth of Jesus, Forgiveness of Sins to your ailing loved one. Pray for humility & grace. God can only be Faithful. I will wait & look for your response.
