Searching for Peace.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I have been searching for inner peace for a long time and always hit a brick wall. I am physically, emotionally and spiritually drained. When I close my eyes to meditate I just burst into tears. I am anxious to start a new journey to wellness but lack direction.
What would you suggest as a starting point?
Response:
You seem to be experiencing a deep layer of sadness and grief. As long as you are primarily working on clearing those feelings of loss, peace will seem elusive, and that can make you feel like you are failing spiritually. You aren’t. Continue meditating and let the release process continue as far as it needs. Don’t worry if tears are streaming down your face while you meditate, just easily come back to the mantra and continue for the full time you have allotted for meditating. These intense feelings of sadness are arising because now is the time for them to heal. Stick with it, you haven’t hit a brick wall unless you stop your practice altogether. Once you are through this rough patch, things will lighten up.

Deepak

When we finally realize its our Self that holds us back to enjoy life. We can heal our heart.
Great answer, dr Deepak. Please don`t forget Ian Curtis 1957-1980 Leadsinger, Joy Division
Hey, personally I think if you`re crying during meditation, it`s working. Crying is the body`s mechanism of relief. Just keep going, the tears will soon be replaced by warmth! If you ask for answers whole-heartedly, it`ll be there :) never think you`ve hit the brick wall!
