Sadness in the Body.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Dear & Respected Deepak,
I am a daily meditation practitioner for more than a year now. I meditate 50-100 minutes daily. What I'm seeking is joy and serenity. I have always been a sad, gloomy person inside. Sometimes I feel sadness in every part of my body for no good reason and it hurts so much. I have taken medication for depression etc. but nothing seems to cure. I thought meditation will help but these days I feel sad more than ever. I have high hopes from my meditation practice. Please comment.
Regards
Response:
Meditation can help you deal with you sadness, but it needs to be part of a larger program that includes vigorous daily exercise, balanced diet of fresh food, positive social interaction, and meaningful activity. Since you especially feel the sadness in your body, I would also recommend doing yoga asanas and pranayama twice a day as well to help release it from your body.
Love,
Deepak
List everything in your life you are thankful for and be happy. Put some humor in your life! Learn to laugh at yourself or rent your favourite funny videos. Do not make any big decisions while you're in this state. Wait until you're feeling better so you can rationally weigh the ups and downs of your decisions. Do something that you enjoy or that will keep you busy, like cleaning your house, volunteer, or read your favorite book.
You are an amazing human being. You must remind yourself and have complete faith that this is true so that the story of sadness will be removed from your life and be replaced by the true story of freedom and expansion. You are a great soul. We all are amazing beings. Seek the company of those who will remind you of this truth. You are awakening to realize your true self as a reflection of the Creator your life will show others how this is done. You are great! Have faith and carry on!!!
The `positivity` that`s a part of you needs to be Shared! Volunteer in some way and show yourself that helping is a positive aspect you have. You`re focusing too much on what`s disabling you, or your disablement. Take the step toward lifting up others, and you`ll release the light of positivity that lives inside of you.
