Getting What You Want.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Do we have control over our lives? Or did we choose a general plan before we came, and we can only influence events and circumstances within the boundaries of that plan? I want to believe I can create my own life, deliberately, but I’m reminded of a quote from the Universe, “You can have whatever you want, if you let me deliver it how I want.” Can we control how our lives unfold? Or is it just what will be, will be, and we can either resist it or accept it?
Response:
Our ego mind does not always get what it wants. But our higher self, our core consciousness, does get what it wants because it wants self-awakening through life experience. The desires and plans of the ego mind change constantly in pursuit of happiness and it seeks to control life to gain security, but happiness and security are not found externally. The higher self provides happiness and security by being happy and secure, not by pursuing them.
