  • Deepak Chopra is probably the only spiritual figure who consorts - or for that matter, is associated on a regular basis - with celebrities (apart from Eckhart Tolle who at least doesn`t do it as much). In my world, those two things don`t mix; no, really, c`mon - couple of months ago, he was was seen with 50 cent. Anyone of you ever read his lyrics? They`re pretty much about violence and degrading women and how much money he`s got. I can`t believe how Deepak would want to be associated with all of that, by appearing together in a picture. I bet if I wanted to get in touch with him, I`d probably have to go through like a thousand channels - but if I was rich and famous, hey!, no problem, step right in! I think I`ll stick with Neale d Walsch...

  • reply to "don`t know//" The comment I posted was not a judgement, it was an observation. Very much, like if a dog was to take a leak on my shoe, I would not judge the dog, but observe what it was doing. I would merely observe what was going on. By your standards then, it would follow that, only because I don`t maybe approve of something or maybe dislike it, I automatically judge it? That is not true. Just because something doesn`t sit well with me, doesn`t mean that I`m judging it. Just as I`m sure that if someone betrayed you or treated you like dirt for the amusement of others, you wouldn`t judge him/her either, but just accept the fact that you are experiencing whatever it is. I may not be judging a bankrobber, but I sure as hell do not personally approve of what he`s doing. Why? Because it`s not the most exemplary thing to do. It`s not my fault if feelings of reproach arise in me, after all, I`m only human. It was merely a conditioned pattern giving of a stink, but I didn`t give in to it; I merely observed and accepted it, and gave my response. My friend, the only judging that was going on here today, came from you - by judging me for judging someone else. Love and Light

  • Awesome Deepak, The Spiritual component to this is imperative. Perhaps another Live Earth like in 7-7-07....People tend to shut down with the Science of it all, but often respond to the Music. I believe we need to fall back in love with the Earth, Nature and the Elements because when we love something we want to take care of it. Check out my Nature Songs at www.enriqueiglesias.com/profile/rinneville and perhaps DJ Ujjayi would be a great person to brainstorm about Live Earth type events. The recconection is what I believe is needed. Grassroots smaller live earth type events would be really effective, but while i`m dreaming it up, events of all sizes, worldwide, multimedia.......Loving the Earth and it`s Beauty!!! Namaste
