Hi Deepak,
I have been confused about my sexuality for years, at the beginning I tried fitting myself into the lesbian community but that didn't last long, then I tried dating men and that was okay but I had re-current sexual dreams about being with women, now the latest label I gave myself is bisexual, the mind needs comfort that it fits in in some way but I have come to realize that my confusion with sexuality is the way my identity crisis manifests itself, deep down I'm not grounded in my true being, I feel like the observer in me is watching the ego self wrestle with things like sexuality to occupy itself, but there is no true reconciliation within, I am wondering if you could give me some advice on this matter?

Our sexual orientation is an aspect of who we are, but it is not the core of our spiritual self. You are quite right to see this struggle to find out where you fit in sexually with society as an opportunity and spur to find a deeper identity beyond your sexuality. Practicing meditation will give you a direct experience of your true self and that will be the basis for a genuine sense of inner reconciliation.

Dont struggle with yourself, seek harmony without sexual objective in your relations with other during a time. focus on truth essential qualities of others and yourself in relationship. and you will purify your experience with yourself and others. is it a female or a man. what is important is the essence in itself of that relation.

It is a journey into the infinitely small of your being, a movement in méditation love receiving and giving. Have you ever fallen in love with a woman? if it never happened, do you think this is possible? if yes, there is no doubt you love women, and men too perhaps! réponce but if not, perhaps it is a fantasy ... if it`s here that you feel you must live it? As someone who also struggled with sexuality, the only option to really consider is to know that the label will always be insufficient. Labels, by nature, always come after the fact. Your true being is an expression that is ever changing in the moment and the moment is the only thing you can succumb to. Knowing is not something that would come from finding the right label, but from finding the true momentary peace that comes from letting go of labels (which as Deepak has said can come from meditation). But also understand that whatever you are is not defined only within yourself but also within the circumstances in which you express yourself. So to fully understand who you are, you will have to relinquish the fear you hold on to that keeps you from fully expressing yourself outwardly.

I agree with Deepak totally....!Only through meditation a person can dive into the true self and see who or what he really is....the spirit.Asexual is for those who have gone beyond the mind and can choose between not having sex at all or tantric sex.Everything else is illusion and fighting with our own minds wich is futile and leeds to suffering...suppression of our desires is very very dangerous thing to do....so let`s kriya yoga and meditation take care of it by it self...:)
