    What Is a Spiritual Solution?

    Category:  Spirituality

Excerpted from my book Spiritual Solutions: Answers to Life’s Greatest Challenges

No one will disagree that life brings challenges, but step back for a moment and ask the deeper question, which is why. Why is life so difficult? No matter what advantages you are born with— money, intelligence, an appealing personality, a sunny outlook, or good social connections— none of these provides a magic key to an easy existence. Somehow life manages to bring difficult problems, the causes of untold suffering and struggle. How you meet your challenges makes all the difference between the promise of success and the specter of failure. Is there a reason for this, or is life simply a random series of events that keeps us off balance and barely able to cope?

    • "To become an architect, who has been handed the blueprint" Wow, that`s a good description. Spiritual solutions are inner solutions. There is a really good blueprint in Nature called the Four Seasons. Each season can easily be a blueprint of the stage one is in. Youth, Adolescence, Maturity, Wisdom. It can also be compared with the four forces in Nature: Gravity, Electro-magnetic force, Strong force, Weak force. One person in India handed me this blueprint through his "Book of Life" called "Self-Designed Universe". He made me understand how all those different approach disciplines in life can be understood going through the four forces all the time, getting entangled and disentangled again. The resulting blueprint is the Super-Force: the Creative Force that takes care of both: entanglement and disentanglement. It is also called Love. Love IS: Love….. Creates in endless ways........ Always moving, always still....... In this dynamic state it stays........ Love is manifestation, at will.........

    • People here on earth are, at their present-level of development, and mainly are a mixture of, `the swirling emotions and thoughts`, which are ever-running in us. If we; are filled-with the negative-emotions such as; fear, hate, anger, selfishness, greed, a bloated up ego or vanity and the like, then we feel these, express these, and the world is a manifestation of these. Until mankind, being each of us, chooses to cultivate the higher positive-emotions within ourselves; and by method` learns to transmute these using their opposites ...like `kind` feeling water poured on a `angry` feeling fire, it puts it out, thus - one emotional reaction at a time, we learn to become `the master of our emotions`, and live in a world within ourselves of the `positive emotions` - and thoughts. Feeling love, kindness, generosity, sacrifice and the like. Thus the inner worlds, manifest the outer worlds, and the technology is understood. This is not` understood as `not difficult`. It is truly difficult to master ourselves. To practice the higher ways. To transform ourselves. Yet; doing so is a joy unspeakable. And; - then much of the outer-world of difficulty, on earth which we see and experience - of which i inferred you to mean in hardships, war, killing, greed, corruption ~ will dissipate and fade away like a bad dream. A nightmare. This has been spoken of in All the world`s religions and by all those shining ones who have come before. The East` calls it right-thinking, right-feeling, right-action, right~being. The West The Ten Commandments, for if we followed them there would be no more killing, no coveting, no adultery, and et cetera ~ utopia. The Christians - do unto others, the golden rule, love your fellow man, and basically All the teachings of Jesus. Buddha - cultivate your mind, your thoughts, your feelings for they manifest from the inner worlds to the outer worlds. Thus All religions have this technology ~ interwoven ~ within them. `It is difficult because - we are challenged to grow ourselves`. And, because the Master Creator, the most Gifted Artist Who has ever Lived, is at Work creating His Good Creation `ing. Let us learn to co-create ourselves and swim With` the great Current. --marc

More Asthma Than Ever, But Why?

    Category:  Health

Asthma is one of the most common diseases in the world, with as many as 300 million sufferers. We’ve all seen what an asthma attack looks like, the typical symptoms being shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and tightness in the chest. Because easy, natural breathing is something everyone takes for granted, asthma is a distressing disruption. Each day you breathe a huge volume of air, from 2,100 to 2,400 gallons. Even for people who manage it well through medication and avoiding risks, there is a major psychological component. Attacks are dreaded, and a silent threat lurks with every breath.

    • Our livers are becoming plugged up with all the toxins. That is why we are becoming more sensitive and more reactive or allergic. When we are stressed, tense and are plugged up our tolerence drops. I am surprised Chopra did not mention this Ayurvedic view. We need to eat more bitter vegies to clean our livers. However the western diet has practically no bitter vegies like Asian diets do. Try bitter melon, brussel sprouts, etc.

    Soul Identity

    Category:  Ask Deepak

    Question:

I want to know if our souls have some identity? Please clarify the following - 1. We are bubbles of universal sea and after we are done with our life purpose we merge back into it. Does it mean that the souls have no identity? 2. If we merge back into the universe then how can we have memories of past lives? Does our souls have some identity?

    Jealous of Co-Worker

    Category:  Ask Deepak

    Question:

I work in a small room with my supervisor and another co-worker, and I struggle to maintain harmonious relationships with them. This co-worker is particularly annoying and frustrating to me in that she always likes to be involved in everyone’s business and at the center of attention. Although I have been working here for 2 years now, and she, much longer, the position I was hired in as, is higher than hers, and there has always been a sense of competition between us. I have been treated well by my supervisor, and am working on gaining her trust and confidence in me in order that I might be given opportunities/projects for growth in my skills. This co-worker of mine does good work, yet, I am irritated and jealous when she receives special treatment as well. How do I change my attitude about this situation if I would like to get along with my co-worker and continue climbing up the ladder?

    • Deepak, and questioner - it doesn`t matter how big the company is or what the space looks like, Deepak quote is the best way IMHO "Do value who you are. Enjoy your uniqueness. Don`t compare yourself with others and put yourself down". Deepak Chopra

    • 1st, no matter what the situation, pray first and ask God to guide your steps, 2nd, since you can`t please everybody, just SMILE! No matter how they are behaving or what they are saying, your smile will keep YOU peaceful inside & that is where the REAL HARMONY begins!
