  • I used to think in the above way dear Deepak, but not anymore. I`ve discovered that I am able to live very well alongside someone who is an atheist. An atheist is just as human as every one and even more willing to keep the peace at a mundane level. People who are able to live simple, do not put themselves and their obsession with life on the foreground, people who have the knowledge in a natural way inside themselves and in this way are already the change they want to see in the world, they receive the natural power. Sages and Scientists still want to receive the confirmation of one another that they are on the right path. Well good luck with that! To tell you the truth: there is no right path and every path is right. Blessed are the meek who live this truth within and without.

  The Penrose-Hameroff theory of "orchestrated objective reduction" ("Orch OR") proposes that consciousness depends on quantum computations in structures called microtubules inside brain neurons, occurring concomitantly with and supportin neuronal-level synaptic computation (Penrose and Hameroff 1995; Hameroff and Penrose 1996a,b; Hameroff 1998a,b; Hameroff et al. 2002).

  • "Can Orch OR account for NDEs/OBEs and conceivably an after-life? I doubt if it can ever be really proven, unless we treat our own body as a robot computer and inject it with technology. Cannot imagine that this will become our future when the human body itself is perfectly able to provide this in a natural way. Everything that can be proven these days seems to have value. What about leaving some secrets to be who they are? I rather imagine my cells as tubular bells. Tubular bells, the journey of my cells.   The "Quantum Soul" Part2 - The Quantum World and Fine Scale of the Universe

  Quantum theory tells us that physical processes occur in discrete, quantized steps, or levels. The laws that govern the quantum differ strangely from the predictable reality of our everyday "classical" world. At small scales, and sometimes at large scales, the bizarre laws of quantum mechanics reign. For example, atoms and subatomic quantum particles can exist in two or more states or places simultaneously, more like waves than particles, and existing as multiple coexisting possibilities known as quantum superposition, governed by a quantum wave function. Another quantum property is "nonlocal entanglement," in which components of a spatially separated system remain unified and connected (Penrose 1989).

  • @thinker: In the first sentence all has already been said. Physical processes occur without us having so much influence on it. But because we think we believe we can actually have influence on it. Deepak is just as much a thinker as everyone but tries to prove his point in a very complicated way through this article. Once one reaches the stage to let it all go and surrender to the process of life, no thinking is necessary anymore.... Deepak wants to convince everyone that meditation (just another word for alertness in the moment) is the way to go. I used already too many words to explain something that`s better not explained at all :)

  • that`s why when one is immersed in deep admiration or contemplation, or meditation, or whatever concentration one is always in the center, spinning around with two feet on the ground :) We are so good in reflecting this truth in everything we create lol, from a carousel to a vortex well, from the blue danube to the whirling dervish, we can watch it all on Youtube :) Remembers me of a Dutch song, long long time ago: "Speel het spel": Play the game, the world goes around and turns like a disc with thousands of names on, play the game, discover your heart, a heart is a house with so many windows.. and so many points of view, yet every day is a new one :)

  • If consciousness returns to zero to `reshuffle` the universe, it gets an overview of `results` so far and a hint for the truth to be lived in the next life. When you are aware of this during meditation or during a dream and can (re) integrate this in your life, you are able to live it in the assurance that you are protected, no matter what. Either you return to go on with the present life, or you are reborn to remember, eventually, your next goal to occupy your Self with. Once experienced such a "NDE" or whatever they call it, you are not afraid anymore and you know that whatever you encounter, you can handle it!! It has given me a wide variety of creativity, opened to me in the several stages of life a human being goes trough. Always giving the right solution at the right time. Well, what can I say, there are numerous videos nowadays on the Internet that confirm this in one way or another. No one has to be afraid anymore for living his/her own truth!!

  • At the end of the day, nothing belongs to me and I surrender to sleep in the conviction that I will awake in the morning. That in itself is already the biggest miracle there is. However, everyone has been given a protection shield around himself, his/her own personal environment. With this protection shield one keeps the inner personality while being One with its surroundings. Am a fan of Pierre Teilhard the Chardin, who spoke of this very clearly.
